Finally, the SD app is worthy of the wesite, and maybe better: a broad navegation section with a clean look. Very quick. Outstanding content. If they would remove the ads and I would happily pay for this app (and the website, too).

I am disappointed with the new layout, simply because it has a cluttered look, and the search function was taken out. And now because of that, Ive developed a natural aversion to go on the app. Please change the app back to the way it was. Its too "bulky" now and it doesnt look sleek at all.

I guess this company doesnt care about its blind readers. I will have to find a Nother science app in order to read science articles since this app doesnt work with the iPhones screen reading program. Too bad, so sad…

I cant read summaries anymore, only headlines. It is an example of what ugly design is - a good publisher makes his product look bad. And it not just looks bad - it works bad. You have no respect for your readers. Your monetization strategies with forced clicks and ugly ads will only bring you deeper to the hole of your recent fails.

I have used Eureka & Science Daily thru desktop computers in the past. Science Dailys mobile app is more limited & buggy but still useful until recently where they are pursuing full-screen increased ad revenue at any cost. Now I am removing it off my iPad. Havent they heard of the trade offs between taking too many golden egg & the life of the golden egg laying goose?

This is the BEST website for a constantly updated visual journal of everything that is awesome and ongoing in science. I wish I could give it 5 stars but the ads are getting aggressive and 30 seconds into reading an article I will see an ad change and the app crashes. Over and over.

I use this app frequently. Now with so many ads infused getting to the news is cumbersome. They are more frequent and more intrusive. I really like the site, but paying for it by navigating around the garbage is frustrating. Ill give you a dollar to dump the ads. Keep it up and Ill find another way.

You know all of the different styles of ads that youve seen in other apps? Put them all in an app at once but with science content and you have science daily. Amazing content. Embarrassingly tacky amount of ads. They should be completely ashamed. At least offer a premium version so us loyal readers can look past your desperate bottom feeding ways.

Most intrusive ads of any site I have visited. The content is great, but ad interruptions dull the experience.

Some ads but thats to be expected w/ a free app

I have no idea if the content on the app is any good. The app never opened for me. I like their website. I wished the app worked!

Updated: the app stabilized, but now ads are so big I can barely read a page, they take up half the screen. They cannot be removed. Attempting to swipe them down only force clicks them, opening the web browser to the advertisement. This makes me doubly frustrated. Until this is fixed, Ill avoid this app all together. Former review: This could be an amazing app, with easy mobile access to the site. But it crashes constantly, often is unable to open, or freezes. Frustrating though it is, I want to stick it out to see the mobile site stabilize, because once it does, Ill be a visitor multiple times a day. As it is now, I can generally only access it once a week, for most of my attempts either lead the app to crashing soon after I open it, to not being able to access it at all because it crashes to desktop as it attempts to open.

Love this app

With the last update, app icon says it is installing, but it never finishes. i cannot delete it, either. i am about to take my ipad into an apple store to find out how to remove this app. It used to work great.... But now it is simply broken. Too bad.
